DHP was asked to create stationery for BRIDE'S magazine's special receptions issue and numerous pieces are showcased in the issue. Monogrammed pennants, place cards and hang tags are in the issue but we also created the event program, coasters and baggage tags. We're thrilled! This is the first time that one of DHP's designs has been the lead photo for an article in BRIDE'S magazine. The story is on customizing your ceremony and reception. It features a plate coaster letterpress printed in 2 colors, done on round, white handmade paper AND the same article features our vow book - a beautiful presentation at the ceremony from which to read your vows to eachother, then it's a keepsake to be cherished for years to come. On October 15, 2006, Marie-Celeste, DHP's owner was a guest on the Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce's weekly radio broadcast of Sunrise Sunday. The program, discussing stationery in all its forms, aired on 92.1 FM, 92.9 FM 930 AM and 1450 AM.

At the September 20, 2006 Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce contact breakfast, newly appointed President of Vassar College, Ms. Catharine Bond Hill, was presented with a "Chamber Welcome to Poughkeepsie" gift which DHP designed and created. Ms. Hill was presented with a five paper stationery suite including three papers suitable for the business environment and two pieces for her personal pleasure. After the presentation, Ms. Hill met with Marie-Celeste (MC on the left) and Ms. Hill glowed with enthusiasm for the gift.

Another fabulous book for all your wedding preparations by Maria. She's featured three DHP designs in this new book released by HarperResource. The first is a letterpress printed monogrammed place card, white, laid finish machine-made paper, printed in a spring green. The second is a little keepsake booklet. It features hand sewn beads on the spine and a foil stamped image on the cover. The third item showcased is our unique bridal word confetti, in pink, lavender and white. We got two mentions in this issue. There's a photo on the magazine's invitation page which features an invitation we did for a couple on full deckle edge handmade paper placed in an organza sleeve. Our blind embossed wedding programs are a frequent, almost monthly, feature in Bride's and Modern Bride magazines. Used in both editorial notes and in their advertising for sponsored bridal shows, look for our pink and white, ribbon wrapped programs. For their wedding supplement, the editorial department featured us as the printer of choice for wedding invitations. Images of both the printing process and one of our most intricate print projects (The Cityscape) are featured. In the same issue, we are a paid advertiser, with a vertical color ad, however the editorial coverage is independent of the advertising. Three items are featured in this issue. In 'Something New' our pre-packaged confetti, The Last Word in Confetti is featured alongside our new ribbon-wrapped vellum cones.
